While there's no denying that RWTC owner Bryan Starr cares deeply about animals in general, the one true love of his pet life will always be Reggie, a Golden Retriever his parents brought home when Bryan was seven. From that moment on, the two were inseparable. 

Reggie passed away during Bryan's freshman year at Northwestern University, but the bond they shared continues to inform the overarching principle of RWTC: That all pets deserve to be treated with care and companionship, respect and attention, love and patience.

Bryan and his wife, Jennifer -- the love of his human life -- live in Chelsea with two very cool cats, Bogart (Bo) and Sam, who are spoiled rotten. Bryan bides his non-dog and cat time writing TV and film scripts, riding his bicycle around town, and wondering why we all can't just get along.

Alexa
Lights, Camera, Crazy!

Alexa is a graphic designer and filmmaker from Ann Arbor, Michigan.  There's never been a time in her life where she's gone without a dog (or cat) - big ones, little ones, weird ones, happy ones, mopey ones.  She's definitely well on her way to becoming a "crazy dog lady" and is looking forward to it!

Nyasia
Plenty Of Love To Go Around

Nyasia's LOVE of animals started with her very first pet, Mr. Cuddles (who we assume was not an alligator) and continues today, as she is not only a dog walker but also a dog owner (Max). Can't get of enough of a good thing, is her motto. Easy-going and fun-loving, Nyasia often spends her leash-free time visiting art galleries and indulging a love of fashion and photography. Clearly she's a lover, not a fighter. 

Doug

Like all our pet-care professionals, Doug is no one-trick pony. When he's not thinking about our four-legged friends, he's thinking about growing the web design company he founded with a childhood friend. We hope Silicon Valley will hold off awhile before snatching him up.

Luis
Zen and the Art of Cuties

Luis relishes dogs and NYC's version of the outdoors equally (he's from Texas). Catching his breath on a Zen walk with a furry one by his side provides an ideal situation for him to get straight with the world. Luis otherwise occupies his mind on paper, writing fiction as an ambition, though he'd be wholly satisfied if a passerby were to read his writings on the side of a bus and exclaim, "That's what I've been saying!" The dogs, for one, appreciate the texture of his poetry :)
